We had a chat to Hollie Kitson, Concept Hair’s newest Apprentice of the Month!
The Concept Hair Hairdressing & Barbering Apprentice of the Month award celebrates students and apprentices who are passionate about the future of the hairdressing & barbering industry, going above and beyond in their apprenticeships to set the standards of the industry.
Concept Hair has launched the award to recognise the efforts that students and apprentices have put into learning the trade.
Hollie was nominated by her employer, BroDans Hair and Beauty in Cardiff and was chosen as Apprentice of the Month by our judging panel after a week of voting on Instagram.
The award was sponsored by OSMO, who sent Hollie an amazing prize bundle.
Our runners up were Nicki Currie from Benedict Hair and Beauty, Luton, and Destiny Coonie from Raw Hair Salon, Dartford.
Hollie, 19, was nominated for the following reason: “She blows my mind being so young with all she has achieved.
“Her work is outstanding. She is a great leader, helping pass knowledge on to the younger apprentices. She is always eager to learn new things.”
Concept Hair: Congratulations Hollie! How does it feel to be the Concept Hair Apprentice of the Month?
Hollie Kitson: It feels amazing to be Apprentice of the Month for Concept Hair Mag and such an achievement, reading all the comments from my clients and friends was amazing. The support was unreal.
