The Fellowship for British Hairdressing has named Sally Brooks as its Hairdresser of the Year.
She was recognised at the Fellowship’s annual awards yesterday for her contributions to the industry as a creative, a business owner and an educator.
Brooke Evans, Casey Coleman, Brandon Messenger and Jose Domene were named as the F.A.M.E Team 2020. Jamie Stevens is the new team leader.
President Ken Picton spoke of the Fellowship’s successes, which include the launch of online education platform The Knowledge.
‘All about creativity and opportunity’
“The Fellowship is all about creativity and opportunity for our members and sponsors and that is what truly makes us unique,” said Ken. “As we enter 2020, we have to be true to our core values, as what other industry can connect with the human spirit like ours can on a daily basis?”
Chairperson Simon Shaw thanked the Fellowship team leaders. “Where else would you get the luminaries of our industry giving their time for free?” he asked.
