Golden Globes: How to re-create Lady Gaga’s blue updo

no comments

The 76th Annual Golden Globe Awards took place on Sunday – and Lady Gaga showcased an incredible blue updo as she won the Best Original Song award.

Celebrity Hairstylist Frederic Aspiras has given his tips on how to recreate the look using ghd.

Gaga, who usually wears her hair platinum blonde, wanted to feel like herself for the Golden Globes. Frederic was inspired by the incredible blue colour of the Valentino dress, and chose a sleek style to complement it.

Recreate the Lady Gaga look

“I combed through the hair with the ghd detangling comb. I then used a ghd natural bristle radial brush size 1 and ghd air hairdryer.

“I then ran the ghd platinum+ styler throughout the hair to create a smooth finish.

“I sprayed a smoothing serum throughout and used the ghd oval dressing brush to sweep the hair up into ponytail.

“I wrapped and twisted the hair into a half bun, leaving the end of the hair out and parted to each side of her head. I then wrapped the ends of the hair around the ghd curve soft curl tong to create long lasting curl. I finished by spraying hairspray.”

The products
