The Fellowship for British Hairdressing announces its new President

The Fellowship for British Hairdressing has announced its new President, Vice President and newly-elected members of the Council.

Ken Picton has been named as President, following in the footsteps of Karine Jackson.

Ken, who owns an award-winning in Cardiff, is also a member of the British Hairdressing Awards Hall of Fame for winning Wales & South Western Hairdresser of the Year on three separate occasions.

Ken was previously Fellowship Chancellor – and has been a member of the organisation for 20 years!

Robert Eaton will serve as Vice-President.

A multi-award winning hairdresser and colourist himself, Robert is also part of British hairdressing heritage as son of Russell Eaton – whose eponymous Yorkshire salon group has been successfully open for more than 40 years.

Robert is also in the British Hairdressing Awards Hall of Fame for scooping Eastern Hairdresser of the Year on three occasions, and regularly mentors the Fellowship’s teams, most recently guiding the Colour Project through their first shoot.

At its AGM, Fellowship members also voted in its Council, who will now go on to advise on all aspects of the Fellowship including teams, events, sponsorship and membership.
