CONCEPT HAIR LEARNER OF THE YEAR 2024 WINNERS
The Concept Hair Learner of the Year competition Finals 2024 took place yesterday on the 21st of March 2024 and it was an exceptional day!
To enter, hair and barbering students and apprentices must tag us in a photo of their work on social media and use #ConceptHairLOTM. Our judges’ favourites (up to a maximum of eight) then go to a public vote at the end of the month before a winner is crowned. For full entry info, click here.
Aimee, a Level 2 apprentice at Polished HQ in Leeds who is studying at Westrow Academy, was October’s winner after receiving the most public votes and won a ghd helios.
Aimee, 17, said: “I am so proud of myself for winning the award. I worked so hard for it and I am so so happy!
The photo she submitted to the award was of her client’s first ever hair colouring.
Aimee said the dream is to open her own salon or even create her own products and styling equipment. “I want to finish my Level 2, move onto Level 3 and do barbering, plus go on hair extension courses and men’s hair replacement too. I’d love to have a wide range of services to offer my clients.”
“I absolutely love this industry, I love how creative you can be, I love how things can come back in fashion – and I love, love, love doing colours, I really enjoy doing them and I love watching videos of different techniques and little ways of improving.”
Congratulations, Aimee! Entries are now open for the November award, with a Pro Hair Tape bundle on offer to the winner!
