Award-nominated student’s top tips for using wigs

no comments

Patience Aurelien is a Level 3 hairdressing student at Croydon College and also sells her own range of wigs under the Pattylush brand.

Specialising in wigs, weaves and avant-garde hair, she was nominated for Weave Stylist of the Year at the 2017 Black Beauty/Sensationnel Hair Awards and for Braids Stylist of the Year in 2018.

Here, Patience talks us through three different looks she has created using wigs.

1 Short wigs can be a way to have a fresh alternative look from conforming to every-day looks. Creative cuts are attractive – it can change your whole appearance and have you feeling amazing.

2 You can never go wrong with a blast of colour! Fashion colours are becoming super trendy. It’s party season right now – one of the most fun seasons to wear wigs and hairpieces.

3 This is a plain and simple wig, but with an edge. Being able to enhance your look is now made easy. Good quality wigs provide a natural feel and look. Pattylush wigs are also very soft with movement and shine that cannot be matched.
